What Is DUPR Match Play?
DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) is the world's largest and most accurate pickleball rating system — used by players, clubs, leagues, and tournaments globally. Your DUPR rating is a single number that reflects how you perform across a wide range of opponents and levels.
At Pickleball Kingdom Tinton Falls, you don't need a formal assessment to get started. Create a free DUPR account, sign up for a DUPR Match Play session in the PK app, and once three more players join that session, we confirm the schedule and get you on a court. Results go straight to DUPR — no extra steps.
The more rated matches you play here, the more accurate and reliable your DUPR number becomes — giving you a real, honest picture of where your game stands.

How It Works
Create a Free DUPR Account
Sign up at dupr.com — it's free. Your DUPR profile is where all your match results live and your rating is calculated over time.
Sign Up on the PK App
Register for a DUPR Match Play session in the Pickleball Kingdom app. This is where you book your spot and the match gets into the system.
3 More Players Join
Three other players sign up for the same session in the app. All four need DUPR accounts so results can be reported to everyone.
We Confirm the Schedule
The club confirms the session and gets you on a court. Play your match — results go straight to DUPR and your reliability score and rating update automatically.

Good to Know
Do I need to be assessed before I can play?
No. As long as you have a free DUPR account, you can jump straight into rated match play. No assessment required.
What is a reliability score?
DUPR uses a reliability score to measure how confident the algorithm is in your rating. The more rated matches you play, the higher your reliability — meaning your rating becomes more accurate.
Do all four players need DUPR accounts?
Yes — everyone in the match needs a DUPR profile so results can be reported correctly to all four players.
What does “club approval” mean?
We coordinate the court booking and confirm the match is set up so results report to DUPR properly. Just reach out or check the app to get it scheduled.
Does my rating change after one match?
Yes — every reported match updates your rating and reliability score. The algorithm weighs your results against your opponents' ratings, so even a single match moves the needle.
Do I need to play in a tournament to get a DUPR rating?
Not at all. You can get rated and keep your score updated entirely through in-house sessions here at Pickleball Kingdom. Our DUPR Match Play sessions and DUPR Challenge Games all count — no tournament required. Just show up, play, and your rating updates after every reported game.
DUPR Ratings & Account Policy
To ensure accurate leveling for our Intermediate, High Intermediate, Advanced, and Advanced Gated sessions, we use your DUPR Doubles Rating to help place you in the right group.
If you already have a DUPR account, please continue using that same profile — do not create a new one. Per DUPR's official Community Guidelines, creating multiple accounts is treated as a form of data manipulation. Duplicate accounts are automatically merged, and repeated or intentional use of multiple profiles can result in a suspended or permanently banned account.
